Homemade Wheat Bran Bread

Try this delicious healthy honey wheat bran bread which is also easy to make. This bran bread will make your meal perfectly healthier and tastier.


  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 4 or 5 tbsp FOODThink Wheat Bran
  • 25 g dry yeast
  • 3 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 250 ml water


  1. First of all, take a large bowl. Add dry yeast and 1/4 cup of lukewarm water in the bowl. Mix properly and add honey to the mixture.
  2. Now in another large bowl take wheat bran. Pour remaining water into that and let it settle for a while.
  3. Pour yeast and water-honey mixture in this bowl. Add oil, bread flour and salt to the mixture.
  4. Mix properly and knit the dough until gets smoothen.
  5. Take rectangle souffle dish and grease it with vegetable oil. Transfer the dough to this dish, cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hr.
  6. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F) for 30 minutes. Now place the souffle dish in the oven and bake for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 180°C and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
  7. Remove the dish from oven. Remove loof from the dish and keep it on a wire rack. Once it is cooled, slice and serve.
